Arrival / Departure:

The Nursery is open from 8.40am until 3.15pm. At these times, Parents and children access the Nursery via the side gate. This is operated with an intercom release button during the day but is unlocked between 8.40am and 9.00am; 3.15 – 3.30pm.
Parents are welcome to come into the FSU and stay with their children until 8.55am. At any other time Parent must access via the main school reception.

Nursery Hours: The hours are as follows

Allocation of Hours:

Children are entitled to 15 hours free per week. This is understood to be the first 15 hours taken each week.
Parents/Carers can purchase 'additional hours' at a cost of £3.60 per hour, once all free places and hours have been allocated to all children.

Parent/Carers will enter into a contract to confirm their commitment to the chosen hours for the term. Please see Appendix 1

Ad hoc hours:
Parents have the opportunity to book a child into the Nursery in advance for one off occasions. We will do everything we can to meet this need but the decision will be dependent upon a place being available for the time requested.

The cost of your ad-hoc hours in any given term will be added to your invoice for the following term. The charge for the ad-hoc hours requested will be based on £5.00 per hour. Once booked the session must be paid for even if you do not take it up.

Nursery / School Closure:
If there is an enforced closure ie for snow, heating failure etc payment will remain payable to cover the actual costs
